Slump day....

All next week I will be training in some computer class and will finally get my codes to my own login at work. I heard the computer classes are pretty boring - Monday through Friday 8:30 to 4:30. I'm going prepared, taking my cd player and a couple of burned cd's with songs I never get tired of listening to. I may as well take some reading material. I can't seem to catch up on my reading! Maybe this weekend.

Other than that, work has been going smashingly well. Laura has already asked me to hang out with her, her husband, and his brother. We're supposed to be going to San Fran the end of November to see the Miami Dolphins play against the 49's. Football or something. I'm really not into football, but that doesn't mean I won't go to the game and have a good time. For Heaven's sake, I wanna go to San Fran! I think Laura may be trying to secretly hook me up with her husband's brother. Geez, I hate it when people do that. I'm just going for a good time, not to be set up. Heh, the funniest part is that she says, "He's (the famous brother-I forgot his name) really good looking! He looks like a Hispanic Snoop Dogg!" SAY WHAT??? Call me crazy, but I don't find nothing attractive about Snoop. This should make for an interesting weekend none the less. Hahaha!!!

So far I really haven't been into the presidential debates. And Iraq did not have weapons of mass destruction. I'm voting for Kerry, but really, I'm just not liking either one of the main contenders. It's sad really. I should be doing more research, but the more I do the more it angers and depresses me. I know - at least I'm voting, but as an American I should really be more into this. Heck, at this point I'm more interested in researching football than the election. Isn't that American enough?

***Reading: Companion to The Sandman comic books. Amazing comic, I can't recommend it enough!

Scented Sunday

I didn't do much yesterday. I was supposed to decorate the house with all my Halloween decorations, but it didn't happen. What did I do? I watched the Kath and Kim marathon on Trio. I absolutely love that show. It's so damn funny. I cleaned up some, and actually found an old VHS cassette that has all my U2 videos on it. Kinda ghetto, but eh. It was some special on MTV that debuted Discotheque. I forgot how much that video cracks me up.
Speaking of U2, I'm brushing up on all the bootlegs, b-sides, and fruitlegs, that I have. I'm not that obsessive stalker or anything, I just tremendously love that group. Their music has been with me through all my problems and happy times.
Anyway, I typed way out of topic. So, today my sis, niece, and I took my dad to this rinky dink little town. That town sucked. The shopping center consisted of a pizza place, Hollywood video, a japanese buffet, and Big Lots. That's it. There was nothing to do. For crying out loud, Main St was closed on a Sunday. We ended up coming back into town and going to Starbucks. Damn, I should not have drank so much coffee (I also had a cup around 8pm). Damn this caffiene! I'm tired, but wide awake. Does that make sense? That's probably why my blog entry is so out of it.
Oh, and as for the today's title, on the ride back into town, we have to pass by the dump. Yuck, my poor nostrils......and if that wasn't bad enough, there was a neighboring dairy. What the hell? Yeah, pretty smelly. I had to spritz my VS Strawberries and Champagne, and even that stunk up the car. It's a horrible combination, I don't recommend it.
I think I'm going to try to sleep. Who am I kidding, I'm just going to lounge around the internet now.
