Going in circles....

Work was so much fun today. Maybe it's the vitamins I've started taking, but I'm a lot more "peppy." I can't wait for tomorrow - April Fool's! I have so many tricks up my sleeve. I can't help it, I'm a prankster. Last week I signed in a fake patient to Maria's dept....The name? Eileen Dover. Say it out loud. Well, she couldn't find the patient in the system and yelled out the name in the lobby. *laugh* Good times. She took it in good stride.

Lu and I talked today. Seems that Roz, another friend, ran into Franzie. Yeah, Franzie! We're supposed to hang out, so that's why I'm feeling like I'm stuck in the circular motion. Hanging out with the same boys I met the last time I hung out with Lu. How do I get myself into these situations? Oh well. It'll be fun.

I'M GOING TO COACHELLA!!! Yay! Got my ticket for the second night. I'm pretty psyched about it. I've been getting into Kasabian and looking forward to seeing them. Stereophonics too. Lika (not Lica - I misspelled her name in an earlier entry), loaned me a grip of cd's.....Off the top of my head, Stereophonics, Von Bondies, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Travis, Postal Service, Razorlight, geez a lot more, but I can't remember. Really great stuff. I can't wait, the end of next month, and I'll be kicking it at Coachella.

Happy Easter!

Wow, I can't believe how fast life is going right now. Not doing much today, just kicking back, relaxing, enjoying redecorating the house. Tomorrow the family is celebrating and J and Q's place (my sis and bro-in-law). Should be fun.

Last night, Gidge and I went to visit T, my other sister - I have three. She's going to be moving soon, so I volunteered to help. I know, I'm such a sweetheart sometimes. *laughs* Anyway, we talked a lot and it didn't help that we also ate raspberry filled doughnuts. So much for me going to the gym last night. Heh. Gym - definitely Monday.

Oh yeah, Lica called me last night asking about Coachella. We are 85% going! Woohoo! She's supposedly buying the tickets this weekend. I find out for sure tomorrow. I'll have to save money. It's going to be hot and I'm addicted to water. No outside food or drinks allowed, and bottled water starts at two bucks. Hmm. We're also considering camping there, but now I'm not so sure. I don't really want to share showers and toilets. Ew. But, seeing Trent again will make it all worth it. And this time I'm fighting my way into the front.

NIN

Survey says? OMG! Awesome. Except for the opening act.....Some chick named Carre Calloway or something other. Her first two songs were good, and then she got boring - fast. Lyrics kinda reminded me of my high school crappy poetry. The guy next to me shouted out, "Ashlee Simpson, You Rock!" Hilarious.....

As for the real show - NIN. OMG, OMG, OMG!!! ROCKED! I love Trent. I took some pictures, but I'm not sure how great they'll come out. My friend also brought us some binoculars, so I'm still dreamy eyed. Oh, Trent, you have wonderful arms, and I'm obsessed with your teeth. Great smile. During "Hurt," the crowd sang along and he looked at his guitarist and flashed the sexiest grin. I'm getting the Heebie Jeebies just thinking about it. Loved it!!! Oh, and I forget which song, but he lifted up his shirt, and I about tumbled down the balcony. Weeeee! I can't really remember the set list, but here goes the best I can.......

Set list for NIN - Fresno at the Saroyan
1. You Know What You Are 2. Love Is Not Enough 3. March Of The Pigs 4. The Line Begins To Blur 5. Piggy 6. Terrible Lie 7. The Collector 8. Closer 9. ?? Trent said "Here is a new song" ?? 10. Burn 11. Gave Up 12. With Teeth 13. Even Deeper 14. Hurt 15. Wish 16. The Hand That Feeds 17. Starfuckers 18. Head Like A Hole

I'm still floating in air....Aah, Trent, You Rock. Eating Wendy's and hoping to go to Coachella. www.coachella.com

I saw sparks....

I really did this week. Why? Because I've been suffering from migraine headaches. I'm not sure what's triggering them, but I think it's the phones at work. I get this throbbing pain on the side of my head, I feel nauseated, and I see sparks. Actually, the last part is kinda cool. Anyway, I have a four day weekend to recover, so I'm not complaining.

The living room is now painted, and the official color? Custard. It's not quite yellow, and a bit deeper than beige. I love it. It makes the space seem so much bigger. What can I say I'm a sucker for home improvement.

I didn't go out last night as originally planned. I called Lu, my best friend, and canceled. She said something that kinda scared me. She's still trying to set me up with some guy we hung out with from last time. No, not Franzie - the other guy. She even knows where he lives. LOL Apparently she passes by his place on her drive to work. Supposedly we're going to hang out like one big happy bunch on April the 8th. Hey, the guy is cool, but I'm not looking for anything -just a fun time.

The fortune cookie says....

"Any doubts you may have will
disappear early this month."
Thanks, Mr. Cookie, but we are well into the middle of the month, and even though life is good, I always have doubts. Yeah, I did have Chinese food for dinner.
I remain optimistic, and yes, "everybody knows that life can be wonderful." Lyrics taken from Flunk's "Play," the song I have on repeat right now.
Finally got my internet to work on my cell phone. I had to call though to get that fixed, but I now have U2's "Vertigo," chorus as my ringtone.
The funniest and cutest thing happened Monday during Bible study. I was telling about my very minor complaint of not getting U2 tickets (sold out), and Edwin told me that he'll bring his guitar in and give me a personal concert of U2 songs. It was so sweet! I'm holding him up to that now. Maybe I'll suggest he wear some cool wraparound shades like Bono. No, he doesn't look anything like him, but still that would be kinda cool. Ha!
