Delirium...

So after the being sick and bored delirium of Saturday passed, I began to enjoy my three days off. My niece and nephew came over and ended up spending the night. Remember how I wanted to spend a weekend playing video games? Well, I did. I totally splurged Sunday and bought DDR Extreme and Zelda (consisting of the first two Legend of Zeldas, Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask). After about five songs of DDR, I realized I'm totally out of shape. I'm committing myself to practice, practice, practice. It's embarrassing enough just hopping around to cheesy techno remakes of songs, but I at least gotta make it look like I'm dancing. *laugh*

Last night around 11, I went on this crazy cleaning spree and cleaned out my room including the mini-blinds. Those things were so dusty. I had the window opened a crack and some Razorlight playing loudly in the background. It took me awhile to get the blinds dust free and sparkling clean, and I had to stand on my bed to reach, but it's so worth it. My window faces the neighbor's kitchen window, and I think I might have shocked him. He kind of jumped a little when he first glanced in my direction, and I kept seeing him peek every now and then. Next time I'll be sure to clean the blinds during the day.

Saturday's alright with me....

I'm the new Saturday girl at work. It's not bad, I'm practically by myself, and it's soooo slow. I'd rather be home or outside gardening, but I can't complain. I'm getting paid for writing in this blog right now right? Not much else happening, except I'm fighting the boredom.

It seems like I only write in this blog when I'm sick. Why do I type this? Because I'm sick now. Sore throat, cough, congestion. Pretty gross. This morning I took out a bottle of water to bring with me today. I took a big swig and it turned out to be Sierra Mist. I'm not sure if my sister played a joke on me or what, but I'm not a big soda fan. I'll drink it if there is nothing else, but that's it. Anyway, I was so shocked I almost spit it out. I couldn't there was a patient in front of me.

Well, I guess I'll find some paperwork to do.
